Summary
For a total of over 15 years, Amy Morawa, Principal of ALM, has been consulting on and designing for user experiences, web sites and related business tools building expertise in interaction design and digital media.
Coming from Dearborn, Michigan via New York City, Amy honed her skills in graphic design and design process services that consider the form, content, and context of your communications.
Amy’s career began after receiving a BFA in computer graphics from Pratt Institute in 1992. As part of the first art school graduates in the country to receive formal training in digital design, she apprenticed with world-renowned illustrator and pioneer digital artist, Barbara Nessim. After completing her apprenticeship, she entered the corporate work force with Judson Rosebush Company, directing and designing CD-ROMs for clients such as CBS, HBO, M&M Mars, New York Times, DC Comics and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Amy’s work with the New York Times and the MET produced the award winning CD ROM “The War in Vietnam” and the children’s CD ROM “Look What I See!” respectively.
In 1996, Amy turned toward the brighter opportunities teaching and developing for the Internet. In 1998 she relocated to Denver and over the next few years had the opportunity to work with some of the premier .com consultancies serving clients such as Xcel Energy, Wells Fargo, Budget Rent-a-Car, Aspen Ski Company, Einstein Bros., and Universal Studios Florida and Janus Corporation.
In 2001 she formally established ALM Design and re-entered the consulting world as an independent continuing work as strategist, information architect, visual designer and developer for a variety of clientele including YAO, MATTER, Slipstream BPM, TogetherBe, Pluris Marketing, and AfricAid.

ALM provides contract services as a Lead User Experience Designer on select projects to provide visual direction and advocate a positive user experience.
YAO, Chinese for Medicine, is a clinic and pharmacy using the cooperative methods intrinsic to Chinese Medicine for treatments such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy and Massage Therapy. ALM provides contract services as to conceptualize, direct and design marketing materials from branding to web sites to package design and promotion.
